Update on pricing

March 25th, 2009

I see that there is some confusion on the pricing of the ‘premium’ version…I’ve only mentioned it in comments and such – my apologies. The ‘premium’ version will be set at $2.99 USD. The free version is in the works and should get to Apple by EOW.

UPDATE: The free version’s feature set will align closely with the highly rated GrandDialer app (RIP), in which it will be able to make calls via typing in a number or choosing a contact from the iPhone’s address book and allow for the storage of multiple phones to take the call on (user selectable).

    What are the key differences between premium and free?

    @Andre

    The free version will allow you to make calls via Google Voice. The Premium will include the ability to retrieve your call log, retrieve voicemail, allow you to dial using your iPhone address book, and update your account settings.

    @noah
    SMS in the premium. You can access any account you have with this – not all at once (why?). Future versions of the premium will allow for easy switching of accounts…

    How long do you expect it to take for Apple to approve?

    @Keith He answered that previously, 5 business days is usual, so possibly early next week.

    On another note, you may want to consider posting your progress once it gets approved to lifehacker.com those guys LOVE GV.

    Mac OSX and iPhone uses Objective-C 2.0 – a spinoff of C.
