Yes, I’m in the US. I even changed my password to exclude special characters. And I run into the same problem – Invalid Credentials. I was a GrandCentral user who got upgraded to Google Voice. I’ve been using Google Voice heavily as all my contacts are synced to Google Contacts. Really appreciate if you could help me out. Thanks.

I dont want to sync my contacts with my iphone. I want seperate contacts for google voice and my iphone. I dont have the same contacts on each. I want my contacts exclusive to gv accessible from GV mobile. Thanks Sean. Great App! Just wondering ahead about the first update.
I’m very excited to use this app! I’ll be glad to beta test and have friends with iPhones and iTouchs to test it also. What’s this about promo codes? It will be way easier to make my cheap friends test it with a promo code

Promo codes were only for my beta testers and certain donators.
Aw I thought it was a tie for the contest of guessing closest to the release date. I guessed April 21.

Seems the “Invalid Credentials” problem is only with the latest version. I removed the latest version and went back to the 1.0 version and am able to use GV again. Sean, you may want to test it out further. Thanks.

invalid credentials problem as well. even changed my google password to not use special characters and still cant get in. very frustrating!
I downloaded the free version, which works fine, but it doesn’t have any of the SMS stuff in it. Basically, the question I have is whether GV Mobile does (or can) continually refresh the SMS history, ideally even making a sound when a new message comes in. Does it do that now? If so, I’d gladly pay for it.
P.S. The Invalid Credentials error only shows up if you get the app from a non-Apple app store (like if you jailbroke your phone).

I’m also having the authentication failure. I got my copy legit from the app store before they yanked it. Why won’t it work now?

Just noticed-it happens to me only when I’m on Wi-Fi. So turned it off and it’s fine
Just started happening yesterday after two weeks of flawless activity. I deleted, reset the phone, and reinstalled. Nothing.

Cydia version stopped working too, invalid credentials. Perhaps google no longer allow this app to log in
I get “invalid credentials” ONLY on my home wifi! It works fine on other WiFi networks and 3G/EDGE. Anyone know what the problem is????

Since this morning, I can’t log in either, getting an invalid credentials error instead. I double checked my google account and everything, but to no avail. I bought this app back when it was in the App Store.
If this is a Google thing, this app is probably dead.

Not true. I bought the app legitimately from the app store months ago. Not working on my iPod touch.
I bought this app in the app store and I’m getting the invalid credentials error. Also, I own the voice central app which is another google voice app, which works fine.
same issue, I’m sure you’re either aware and/or working on it (hoping anyway).

getting Invalid credentials as well. tried logging in from various locations (all in FL USA). tried changing password. no success. perhaps apple is blocking this app? I cannot reinstall because my phone is not jailbroke. hopefully apple will allow this app to be back on the store soon
Add me to the list of Invalid Credentials problems. It was nice while it lasted. I wish I could do a charge back on Apple since I bought the app.
I restored an old backup of my iPhone but it still gives the error so I’m willing to bet that AT&T borked it intentionally.
I get the invalid credentials error too! Wish I had never bought the program now… I only used it a few times and now it’s useless!

I have had the GV Mobile from the App Store since April…used it all the time, and occcasionally had an ‘INVALID CREDENTIALS’ tag, and that always went after a day or two…Now it has been on for three days and counting. Did Apple ZAP it at AT&T’s behest?
Currently, I am using my iPhone to dial the Google Voice Number and then selecting Option ’2′ to dial a call from the Google Voice number and to show the GV phone number.
Does anyone have any ideas, or are we all screwed?!?!?
