    is it possible to have an option to include SMS to email since email does use push notifications?

    I think Anonymous is right. I have requested Google to add the feature but not sure if it’ll ever happen.

    @Joe Ponte
    If you use a custom 2.2.1 firmware your baseband will be preserved.

    Question. Does the SMS feature use any of the built in iPhone SMS stuff? The GV Mobile video says something about replies being forwarded to the SMS app. Basically, I don’t really have SMS with my iPhone (corporate plan). So, will using the SMS part go only off the the Google Voice SMS service, or does it also have some amount of hooks into the built in iPhone SMS app? The video kinda confused me on that.

    @Davin
    Davin,
    The video was made prior to the release of the initial version of GV Mobile where Google Voice forwarded the replies to your cell phone; that option can still be used if you need to. However, the current version of GV Mobile (V 1.2) solved that by providing full sms support from within the app. Sean has made alot of changes in this current version of the app, so go ahead and buy with confidence that you’ll never pay for another text msg again. I hope that clears things up for you.
