    Yay for update! Thanks for adding my request for the archive/delete toggle in settings.
    Is it possible to add individual timestamps for each text message? I thought it existed 2 updates ago, but I don’t remember exactly.

    Sean-

    I love this app however it seems now that with the update push notifications are no longer working? I’d like to think it’s not related to the update. Have you heard any other folks raise this issue?

    @Sean

    Thanks for the switch for inbox archive/delete? Any chance in the future that it will also swap the hold archive action to delete? (The one on the bottom right when you tap-hold on an item.)

    @Jesse
    That first part was meant to have an exclamation instead of a question mark. Very thankful for this update. :)

    @NovaTornado It did…kinda. I reduced the interval to 1 hour (to show timestamps)…I’ll see what I can do regarding showing it on each bubble…

    @Cliff Ames Cliff — go to Settings>Push Notifications and toggle Off then On…should get you working. If not, email me…this is more a back-end thing than an app thing.

    Hey Sean. Love the app. I seem to be having trouble refreshing SMS screen to update for new messages. It just stalls and when it finally stops it still doesn’t bring up new messages. I have not set up push because I have my messages already pushed through another app but before the update it worked both ways. I don’t know if it’s because of the latest update or maybe my itouch (4g, updated) I have reset my device and deleted apps to see if that made a difference. Any suggestions? Thanks again !

    @David p Stall as in the app locks up? I do know there is an issue where a user is in the reply view, and the most current SMS from some person is one in which Google decides to spawn it into a separate convo(i.e the way Google breaks up SMS conversations into it’s timed groupings)…the app will not recognize this new SMS convo until you back out of the SMS reply view and refresh the inbox, history, or text section…it’s not necessarily a bug, but an annoyance. This will only happen when you text someone and leave the SMS reply view open, close the app, and the person you text replies sometime greater than 1-2 hours.
    Anyway…email me if you need further assistance. :)

    Stuck in a crash loop on newest update. I reverted back to old version from my desktop and it now works fine. Is the crash issue common?

  14. May 24th, 2011 at 09:24

    @Eddie G Delete the app on the phone, and reinstall from the phone. Not really a big issue.

    Yes, I am still suffering from the same bug. I can’t setup my phone to forward calls because of this. @T.Bone

    @David You guys can always go on the website and do this for the time being…this is usually a one time thing that people do…

    thanks for the update Sean, but i am having trouble since 2 versions, when i click on the missed phone call, i dont get any option to perform phone/sms/etc functions.. surprised others didnt notice this bug or am i doing something wrong

  19. May 25th, 2011 at 08:25

    @Sudhir I changed this behavior. You hold down on the call now instead of tap.

    Hey Sean – been using this for a while now – LOVE IT. Buuuut – ever since the new update it doesn’t work. I launch the app, it brings me to a blank screen with “GV Mobile +” at the top and then eventually the screen goes away and I go back to Iphone menu. Thing is, the app is listed as still running – I can go back to it, but still to that blank screen.

    @Charlie Charlie – Have you tried deleting it and reinstalling from the phone? Can you email me? seanATseankovacsdotcom

    Hey Sean. What I was having issue with and still am is when you are refreshing the page whether its SMS or voicemail or whatever and you do this by pulling down to update the page or pull up to load old messages. It’s not working anymore. I tried reinstalling several times and freeing up space on my itouch to see if that made a difference. Im not sure if that’s what you were touching on in your reply to my message. Thanks again for a great app.

    @David p Delete, reboot, and reinstall from the App Store and you’ll be fine. An update is with Apple and should be available in a couple days.
