GV Mobile + v2.4.0408 available
April 24th, 2012
I posted an update to GV Mobile +. This update brings several backend updates, bug fixes, and a new Auto Dial option (clicking the Call button in the action menu will make the instead of just brining up the dial pad).
UPDATE: Please ignore this update as it appears to have some issues. Another update has been submitted to Apple and should be available shortly. Look for version 2.4.0425.
I have an iPad on Verizon.
I was wondering what were the settings that I need to set to make AND receive phone calls on my iPad ???

the previous version in the app store was working perfect for me. the new version crashes like every time i open and come back to it old one never crashed once it seemed
Crashes! Since I updated last night, it crashes constantly. This is one of my favorite (and most used) apps! What’s up?

Everytime there is a new message on open the app crashes.
This app made me cancel text messaging and it’s better than googles official app, but last night when I updated it just kept crashing as other people described, literally every time you refresh it crashes. Please update

Hello This is the app i use for business line. after the update i can not make any calls from the menu. this update has major problems as everyone is saying above.
please revert back to the older version so we can use it. very important. Please fix ASAP.
Same as above. I was relatively happy with the previous version, but now it crashes almost every time a text comes in. I’d like to revert to the previous version please!
Crashing very often, never had that issue before update. Please fix. Also the refresh is lagging and not updating.
I updated today and–so far–I haven’t had any crashing or problems at all. If any appear I’ll report on them. The auto dial feature is pretty cool. Any plans to tweak further or add additional features in “settings,” (e.g., option to select voicemail reply from within app)? Thanks.
An obvious bumpy start on this new update. Sorry folks. I’m aware of the crash when opening a Push notification, and the issues with making a call from the action menu.
What I can’t reproduce is the random crashing some have. If you jail break, turn off your addons, otherwise, send me crash logs. Appreciate it guys.
Can I go back to previous version temporarily for now and how can I reinstall the previous one.

Richard, if you synced with your computer, I believe you can resync the old version back to the phone. Just delete the current version before hand.

Ok, I now have experienced the crashing. The update isn’t unusable–so far–just a bit
buggy to use. I haven’t synced my phone with my computer yet since the update, so I may
from my phone and reinstall the previous version from my computer. I trust you’ll get things
smoothed out in short order.

App has been working flawlessy for as long as I can remember until this new update. App crashes literally every single time I receive a new message. So annoying, please fix this Sean!
short term don’t launch the app via the notification
Regarding the crashing – it actually has to do with new/unread items. Memory leak introduced that has been fixed. Sorry gang.

its already with apple and i requested an expedited review, so hopefully it will get done sooner than the typical 6-7 days.
Thanks for the quick turnaround. And its true an easy fix is not to launch the app via notification. Having said that, this new release is alot smoother, and I love the auto dial. Way to improve an already badass app!!
Really? On my end, it crashes no matter how I open it. Even if I have gvmobile open and I receive a new text, it crashes and I have to re-open the app to see the new text. Good news the update is coming soon. Thanks Sean.
Big fan of this app keep up the great work! The latest update appears to have an issue.
1) when refreshing SMS, it just spins nothing actually updates
2) SMS notifications now work hit or miss (probably has to do with 1)
3) App crashes when SMS is received
Ray, if you read the comments, you’ll this has been discussed and Sean has already submitted an update to Apple to fix these bugs. It’ll be available on iTunes soon.
I can’t open the app anymore. I get a white GV Mobile screen and then it crashes. I’ve deleted it and reinstalled it on my iPhone 4 Verizon, rebooted the phone and it crashes.

The app still doesn’t work, I’m actually gonna delete and download the competitor, they have to do things a little better

Like everyone else, once the app updated to the new version, every time I open it, it crashes.
