Failure as in being able to send one. This was entirely due to the URL shortening – making gvmobileservices.appspot.com/p?img=XXXXXXX look like goo.gl/XXXXX. For Google’s own protection, they have many safe guards in place to prevent spammers killing their URL shortening service. Long story short, you should start seeing gvmpl.us URLs for your picture messaging. And it works badassly. Enjoy.
