Every time I get in the app I get a pop up saying “please sign in the use gv mobile+” I hit okay and then it works fine. Other times I get “timeout error cannot reach google server” hit okay and it works.

Why does the new version not work on iphone? everytime I try to make a call it says “There was an error connecting with google voice”?

Yeah I am getting this same error 100% of the time. I can’t make calls or send texts for about a week and a half. Whats up with this? Are you working on a fix?

Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t the only one who can’t call or text

Hi Sean, same problems with the app as above. When trying to make a call it pops up “there was an error connecting with google voice” or it show the spinning wheel and says “initiating call” but never connects. Sometimes it does stat that I am not signed into google voice when I am. Texts seem to work with a delay.

I love this app but am having a problem that I am hoping you can fix. I call Austrailia daily and can no longer connect using the app ? It started when I updated the time before a new update today and I was hoping the update I received today had a fix but just tried an “no go” I need some advice and hope the problem can be resolved.

After updating to the latest version, I get an “Invalid Response From Google (General)” error. I have been using this app for quite a while and I’ve never had this before.

i’ll often send a text and it will not show up in the thread – even if i hit refresh or go back to the main screen to see a list of all my texts and refresh from there. it’s only when the person replies that my text shows up in the thread. is this something on google’s side or the app? it’s frustrating because sometimes the texts truly don’t go through and i’m often not sure which is the case, i.e. whether i should resend or ask for confirmation of receipt. help?

funny, after submitting my comment above – i checked google voice through my web browser and the text had indeed not gone through. i tried to resend it, but now get an error similar to the commenter (Evan). the rest of the error: Error: Error Domain=ASIHTTPRequestErrorDomain Code=1 “A connection failure occurred” UserInfo…{NSUnderlyingError=… “The operation couldn’t be completed. Can’t assign requested address”, NSLocalizedDescription=A connection failure occurred}

Wow this app still has all the same issues, the dialing goes thru sometimes, either that or restart the app, all of the above correct about messages no showing up in the app

This app just gets worse and worse and worse with everywhere update

i am here in Philippines. i am using IPhone 4S IOS 5.1.1. I have Google Voice. I am using GV Mobile +. but i cannot use directly from my iphone i need to call through talkatone. can you help me to configure my GV Mobile + to call directly from my BV Mobile +.

Can you please address this preference with your next update?

Recently I upgraded from version 2.30919 to the current version (2.5) and noticed the notifications for new calls/texts has been changed to a blue arrow on the right side of the tab.
Previously in version 2.30919 the whole entire message was highlighted in light blue.

Can you please make this an option with the next update?
I tried to downgrade the app but for some reason it’s not working this time.

If you have lots of time, go back and read user comments, for YEARS, and you’ll see that this app is constantly the victim of new and fatal flaws. Sean never manages a clean build, and is notorious for not responding to concerns, complaints, and criticisms. This ought to be a great app. Instead, it’s an ongoing great failure.

Push notification stopped working since Monday July 23rd. Can you please fix soon? Thanks

Where is there a help guide on this app? I just bought it and can’t figure out the block/unblock function that I thought would like to my address book.

One minor issue, I’ve noticed when typing certain characters from the iphone’s Japanese keyboard they will be displayed as question marks. They will show up properly in the official app and the actual text messages, but GV+ doesn’t display them properly.

My GV+ app keeps crashing. I reinstalled it and rebooted my phone.

I cant get the app to work, I have MO+, Talkatone anf GV Phone working to send and receive calls. With GV Mobile + I can’t make any out going calls unless I pick talkatone as the call method. Is it possible to set this app up as a standalone app to make and receive calls with out having to launch talkatone?
